Greetings from AGRIM INSTITUTE OF NEUROSCIENCES.

Agrim Institute of Neurosciences is an attempt to introduce a novel concept of ‘Integrated Practicing Units’ on the health care horizon of India. We are a team of specialists from the field of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurointervention and Stroke, and Neurocritical care who are committed to provide a customized comprehensive treatment of neurological disorders along with being instrumental in organizing a number of successful academic events that have been well-attended and acknowledged alike by experts and professional colleagues from India and abroad.

We had been conceptualizing AGRIM NEUROLOGY UPDATE (ANU) as an ‘academic meet of excellence’ for the last few years and even the dates (9th to 11th October 2020), the faculty, and the venue were also finalized. But, then COVID-19 pandemic happened bringing the world to a standstill and the mankind down to its knees.

We were still hoping against hope that things would stabilize, and we should be able to organize the event as ‘in-person’ ANU. With the currently rising national cases, official travel and gathering restrictions, and social (physical) distancing as the ‘new normal’ we had to heavy-heartedly call-off the in-person ANU.

We are however excited to share with you, the news of the VIRTUAL AGRIM NEUROLOGY UPDATE (VANU) 2020 that will replace the earlier in-person format. Now, you can expect over 48 hours of extra-ordinary educational content through our virtual platform, including plenary sessions, teaching courses and access to the accepted abstracts. Additionally, the meeting shall provide options such as online workshops and an access to the selective on-demand recorded talks from the experts in their respective fields – which we lovingly call as the ‘NEUROFLIX’ experience. Moreover, there are attractive incentives for the best papers, for the best login-time, apart from a fully operational virtual Industry exhibition. The meeting in its present format will focus on Headache, Movement disorders, Neuromuscular disorders, Neuroimmunology and Epilepsy. Please look out for more information and the updates on the Virtual Congress in the coming weeks. We believe that the decision to hold a virtual conference in the current scenario is the best to safeguard the health of the organizers, the faculty and the attendees.

Although, we shall not be meeting ‘in-person’ this October in Gurugram India, we, the organizing committee of VANU 2020 take pride in this unique team initiative and effort of arranging an academic feast for you and providing an opportunity to connect virtually to accomplish our mission of achieving  ‘clinical excellence based on the best updated academic knowledge’.
